Teachers should accompany their
classes to the library unless arrangements have been made beforehand to
send a few students to the media center.
Teachers should reserve the
library no more than four days in a row for any one class period/class.
Teachers may use the library more than four days in a row when other
teachers do not need to use the media center; that is, we may 'bump' you
from the schedule if you've been in the media center more than four
consecutive days and other teachers desire to use the library.
Teachers should reserve the
library no more than 9 or 10 weeks ahead of time.
When teachers need to send
students to the media center 'unaccompanied' (to take a test, for
example) please first discuss this with the media center staff and limit
this to 4 or 5 students.
Room 92, the computer lab, is
also available for teacher use. In emergency situations, Mr. Vryhof's
computer lab may also be available. Keep in mind that he has only 24
work stations in his room, and he has students who use some of these
computers during his free hours. Talk to Mr. Verhulst about this option,
or other options, if you are having difficulty signing up to use the
media center.
